Dear VirusB/KB/indigo user,

This Access Virus (with OS 4.02) bank is composed with the trance, goa and ambient musician in mind.

The patches that you find in the MIDI file in this package are a collection of sub leads,
special effects and arpeggios. Hopefully you'll spend a good time auditioning, using and
modifying this patch bank.

NOTE: You will notice that some sounds on this bank will sound rather "static" when played back. My philosophy of trance sound creation is that there should be as little as auto-cutofF as possible. You can instead control your cuttoff or filter envelope amount with your sequencer while recording your musical pieces. Some sounds will have a slight envelope to get you on the way with it's nature.

Credits arn't all mine in this bank. Simply because of the fact that I have been modifying some factory patches such as BASSEY, MOVEMENTS and OVERTURE to make a few new sounds... They'll simply be having a 2 behind them..

As a reminder: Please make yourself aware of the changes you are about to make to the virus when you install this bank. You can choose this bank to be bank A or bank B in the midi settings. First, backup all the sounds you like or relocate them to different banks.

Installation
=============

You require a midi sequencer program to load up the accompanying midi file cd_futureset.mid.

Download a sequencer of your choise:

Cubasisfree at www.steinberg.net
Logic free at www.emagic.de or
Cakewalk at www.cakewalk.com

The file included in this ZIP archive is composed of the needed system exclusive data that will change your bank A data. However it is possible for you to transfer the data to bank B, but you'll have to do some adjustments in your midi receive settings on the Virus.

When you load or import this MIDI file into the sequencer (Logic, cakewalk or cubase) you need to select the MIDI port that sends data from your sequencer to your virus and then start playing the file

The bank has been originally dumped at 120bpm speed so it would be advisable to maintain that tempo while you are about to dump this bank into your own Virus.

Enjoy!
